Hi Tom,

It looks good but I am unsure of granpas brothers and sisters for I only met Ervid and Arvid they are twins yes but on here you have them listed as Kenneth whom is actually Ervid Kenneth and Arvid Kieth as Keith. Not to mention my granpa named 2 of his boys arvid keith and kenneth ervid. So it can be easily confused. I just spoke with my dad and he said that grampas sisters all kinda disappeared. The only one that they really seen was irene whom married a crawford and lived in brainerd most of theur life. also do you have any info on a george freeman beach. i have a 70 something wonderful lady who has contacted me about him and she says her grandfather was a william beach from england. anyway if u have anything let me know thanks.

JAS. E. BROMWELL, Marion ~ President
T. T. WILLIAMS, Marion ~ Sec'y-Treas.

THE Old Settlers Association of Linn County, was organized in 1891
under the direction of J. C. Davis, its ex-secretary. It was organized for
the purpose of bringing the old settlers of the county into closed communion
with one another, and has been a great success from both a social and
financial standpoint. The growth of the association has been marked from the
very start and it now has a membership of 2,500 of the pioneers who settled
in this county between the years 1837 and 1890. One of the leading features
of the association is the holding of an annual reunion and picnic, which is
held at Marion. It is always the largest and most successful reunion held in
the county. We herewith present to our readers a complete roster of the
membership, compiled in alphabetical order, together with the years in which
they first settled in Linn county.
Names preceded by a star signify the members have died since joining
the association.

I grew up in Mt Vernon & remember the family of Richard Busenbark & Also
Marjorie Beach, b abt 1916 who later married Everett Freeman.

It says that Agnes Martin came to Linn Co in 1839, but have never heard of
this name as an early settler near Mt Vernon - may have been another part of
the county.

Hope this helps.
