Note for:   Nancy Ann Cosner,   6 OCT 1851 - 1931         Index

Individual Note:
I show Nancy Ann marrying him December 22, 1889. Unfortunately, right now
that's all I have. I remembered the name because just recently it was
mentioned that Nancy took care of one of her brother's children when he
died at an early age. Nancy Ann was my ggrandfather's sister.

I have a document for a will that I've been researching from about 1925
that has a Nancy Hart Beach (she was married first to John Hart). I ran
out of time last year at the courthuse and will be finishing up this
research in a couple of weeks.

This will has turned out to be a goldmine When Nancy's first cousin died
he left a will saying that everything he owned (for Fredericktown it was
considerable) was to be split among the first cousins or their descendants,
if he died first then after his wife died , the same thing Anyways, due
to the number of cousins there was a petition for a re-construction of the
will. This means affidavits for from all the cousins. BTW, they had to
live in Ohio So....I have all these documents from over 80 people. I ran
out of time and never got the final documents I'm going back to Ohio for
research at the courthouse in two week. To make a long story short, I'll
keep an eye out for the name Beach.

Also, Nancy Ann is buried in Fredericktown next to her first husband John.
Looks like he may have died in the war. She's buried next to her parents.
So I wonder if she died in Indiana and then was brought back to
Fredericktown. She died in 1931 so I'll have to get her death certificate.
She's not in the Ohio State Death Index, so maybe she died in Indiana.
I've been trying to go back one generation at a time, child by child, to
try and stay focused. Needless to say, I have been very successful. I
have one cousin alive who may remember whether or not they had any children
of their own. I'll write him this week.

I'll be sure to gather my sources also. I believe this information came
from a book written by a family member about 1900 so i haven't confirmed
much on the marriage. I'll also check that out.
